Great Day for Arete Throw Nation shot putter Dotun Ogudeji and Coach Jorge Reyes at the 2014 Arcadia Invitational.
Dotun had a big 66-foot foul on the opening throw and fouled about a 63 footer on the second.
The pressure was on.
He needed to take an easy throw to make the final. Pulling himself to center, he threw an easy 59′ throw in the 3rd round.
Matt Katnik—another Arete Throws Nation athlete—was leading with 63’10″and Dotun responded with a 63’4″ throw.
Below is Dotun’s final throw at 65’1″ – a response to fellow Arete Throws Nation shot putter, Matt Katnik’s super series performance.
It was a 9″ win!… and an exciting day for the Throws Nation and throwers everywhere!
