After watching this video, do you see why it’s critical to have PEDs in your throws training program.
You must have this structure and base to your training in order to have any meaningful success!
Throwing drills have 2 categories and they are specific:
- 🕺 THROWING MOTIONS: You don’t want general movement, you want specific motion because biomechanics and physics are unequivocal. Throwing Motion is about working the most optimal flow, aka proper sequence, and then timing it up. There’s an optimal range of motion for each individual throwing position. You can’t defy the science … that is called incorrect throwing technique and you’ll get slooooooow results, or worse…. no results with the wrong motion!
- 🚀 ISOLATED POSITIONS: You don’t want general positions either. For this type of drill, it’s about breaking down a motion into isolated positions. Then you put them together to form a sequence. If positions are incorrect and misunderstood, they are practiced incorrectly and again, progress is slow. 😱 You want to work isolated biomechanical positions to train the ability to move correctly.
